Hoffman Properties purchased the building from an estate, it was empty and condemned by the city. Our goal was to transform this historic property to luxury condominiums, while restoring and preserving historic features. We referenced photos taken by the City of Portland in 1938, sourced from the Historic Society to determine what features had been lost over the years to guiding our renovation. Including the antique entry door we acquired locally. In the interior we replaced all heating , plumbing and electrical systems , insulated and installed high efficiency heat pumps. We also added a sprinkler system for additional safety. The condos sold before they were listed and the neighbors were very happy that the building was restored rather than torn down and is fully occupied.
